BART vehicle rehabilitation
John Reilly provided initial partnering development and implementation services for the Bay Area Rapid Transit System in Oakland California on their $350 million vehicle rehabilitation project. The project was to completely strip and rebuild the entire first vehicle fleet, after 25 years of operations.

John worked with BART Departments of Transit Systems Development, Rail Vehicles and Operations and the manufacturer - Adtranz and its sub-suppliers. He was responsible for designing the partnering approach, including its adaptation to a public works/vehicle re-manufacturing environment. Work included facilitation of 7 worksessions from September 1995 to June 1997 and 2 total project staff work-out sessions with over 100 personnel each, as well as evaluation of partnering implementation and project specific partnering surveys. 1995 - 1997.
